Only used when a wall object is hanging from one rod that is centered behind the object. Hidden behind the bottom rail of a frame and it will reduce the distance between top of the frame to the wall to about 1" to 1'' 3/4 from the wall surface. Particularly useful on larger frames, and to reduce the likelihood of the top of a frame from haning away from the wall too much. Almost required when grouping multiple objects in a vertical stack from a single rod. Thumb screw actuated. Two sizes.
