When a museum set out to present the renderings of a noteworthy architect, the curators chose an approach where Original Sketches Preserved & Displayed became the whole point of the installation. Each vintage drawing was sandwiched between two clear acrylic sheets and floated on tensioned cables, so the paper appears to hover in the air with light passing gently around it. The effect is quietly dramatic, honoring the hand of the architect without hiding a single line.
The photograph shows a bright, contemporary gallery where warm-toned architectural renderings are suspended in a loose grid, each panel held between acrylic and lit so the drawings glow against the wall behind them. Elevations, sections, and perspective studies sit at slightly different heights, giving the arrangement an easy, curated rhythm rather than a rigid row. Because the panels are clear, you can sense the depth of the room through the display, which keeps the focus squarely on the ink and paper.
