A wall of glass is one of the most underused canvases in any office, and this regional tourism bureau saw the opportunity right away. By mounting a grid of aerial landscape panels across its floor-to-ceiling windows, the office built a gallery that works in two directions at once: a welcoming display for visitors inside, and an eye-catching billboard for foot traffic outside. The result is one of the clearest examples of how commercial display systems can do double duty, marketing both a destination and the brand behind it.
The setting here is a bright, modern reception area with daylight pouring through a tall mullioned window wall. Rather than block that light, the design uses it. Each panel hangs in the open glazing on slim tensioned cables, so sunlight passes around the images and the prints stay legible from the sidewalk as well as the lobby. For a tourism office whose whole purpose is to draw people in, that outward visibility turns the storefront itself into an invitation.
