International Youth Day
They say that youth brings life! More than ever, we need to feel more alive. Our young people, young and old, are a vital source of energy, inspiration, and hope. In this context of the Covid-19 pandemic, our young people were able to surprise us, impress us, rise to today’s and tomorrow’s challenges of our society.
The theme for International Youth Day 2020, “Youth Engagement for Global Action”, aims to highlight how youth engagement at all levels enriches national and multilateral institutions and processes.
Our society’s youth have and will have many challenges to meet in the future, like climate change, the Covid-19 pandemic, or poverty, to name a few. Nevertheless, they have a superhuman strength which is called youth! They have a vision, a mission, and an ideology. We are there to encourage them to continue to undertake and forge ahead.
At AS Hanging Display Systems we take pride in the youth of the world. We wish them stars in their eyes despite the challenges they face. We have created acrylic picture hanging systems to hang plexiglass panels in classrooms. We have developed products like the Casso® Display Rail wall organizer to allow them to safely display their masterpieces and organize their desks at home.
A little history
International Youth Day, adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 1999, is commemorated annually on August 12 in order to draw attention of the international community to youth issues and to celebrate the potential that young people have as partners in a global society.
